AMAX Introduces 1TB SATA 3.0GB/S Support Storage Solutions

AMAX's storage systems and servers are optimized for industry-leading performance, high scalability, minimized down time, maximum storage capacity, low overall total cost of ownership (TCO), full redundancy and failover capabilities, continuous data protection, and rapid data recovery. These high density, high storage capacity storage solutions, combing with the new 1TB SATA 3.0GB/S hard disk drives, increase the storage capacity of AMAX's storage solutions by 25 percent or more. These solutions now support up to 4TB of hot swap storage in 1U storage solutions, 12TB in 2U, 16TB in 3U, 24TB in 4U and 5U, and up to 40TB of hot swap storage in 8U.

In addition, AMAX's storage systems and servers support RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, and JBOD. They also support multiple interconnect options, including Infiniband (10GbE, 20GbE), Ethernet (Gigabit, 10GbE), Fibre Channel, Myrinet, Quadrics. Moreover, these storage solutions are available in a variety of customized configurations to meet the specific storage needs of individual organizations.
