AMAX to Host High Performance Computing (HPC) Technology Showcase

Fremont, CA — September 29, 2008.  AMAX (www.amax.com), the leading provider of custom servers and storage solutions in North America, will host a Technology Showcase on High Performance Computing (HPC) at its Fremont, Calif., headquarters on Thursday, October 2.

The showcase, featuring the latest clustering, server, storage, and graphics workstation technologies, is in response to numerous requests from customers interested in learning more about the rapidly evolving HPC landscape. Up to 15 of AMAX's technology partners will demonstrate the latest HPC products and technologies at the show.

IT directors and decision makers from local corporations and school districts, along with a select group of our VAR, reseller and system builder customers, will get a chance to meet face-to-face with our technology partners to assess the expanding array of applications and opportunities in this fast-growing segment of the industry.
