Amax Engineering

Liquid Cooling for High-Performance Computing

Sustain performance at higher compute densities

AMAX Designs Liquid-Cooled Solutions for Demanding HPC Environments

AMAX designs and deploys liquid-cooled HPC infrastructure for scientific computing, engineering simulation, semiconductor workloads, research, and other compute-intensive environments. From cold plates and coolant distribution units to rack design, controls, and facility connections, each solution is engineered around the workload, site conditions, and operating requirements.

Cooling Architecture

Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling

Cold plates transfer heat directly from CPUs, GPUs, accelerators, and other high-power components into the liquid loop. This approach supports dense HPC nodes while reducing the heat released into the room.

Rack-Level Coolant Distribution

In-rack and in-row coolant distribution units manage flow, pressure, temperature, and heat exchange between facility water and the technology cooling loop. Manifolds and quick-disconnect assemblies support orderly distribution and service access across the rack.

Liquid-to-liquid, liquid-to-air, and hybrid cooling

AMAX supports multiple heat-rejection approaches based on facility readiness. Liquid-to-liquid systems connect to a facility water loop, liquid-to-air systems reject heat into the room, and hybrid designs address mixed air-cooled and liquid-cooled equipment.

Enclosed industrial cooling systems

For factory, laboratory, and semiconductor environments, AMAX develops enclosed liquid-cooled cabinets with mechanical protection, monitoring, safety controls, and service access suited to the installation site.

Validate Liquid-Cooled Racks Before Deployment

AMAX HostMax™ provides a production-adjacent environment for bringing up and testing liquid-cooled GPU and HPC racks under operating conditions before shipment or site deployment. Engineering teams can assess hardware stability, software compatibility, cooling performance, monitoring, and workload readiness while systems remain close to the manufacturing floor.

Plan Your HPC Liquid Cooling Deployment

Whether you are upgrading an existing cluster, preparing a facility for higher rack densities, or developing a new liquid-cooled HPC platform, AMAX can help define and deliver the system around your workload and site.
